I used to love Beaver but after they were bought by Optum things started to get worse. Now they have hired Epic management and I will be finding another medical group as soon as I can. I called to make an appointment with my doctor's office and the woman had to call the doctor's office to see who to make the appointment with and when she couldn't get through she sent a note to the doctor and after a 20-minute phone call I was completely unable to even make an appointment with my doctor.

I was here in March since I was having overwhelming pins and needles sensation in my limbs, came here to get it looked at...did nothing for me at all, told them it could've been a medication that my doctor prescribed me at least. I tell the doctor, & this dude pulls out his phone to look up the symptoms and only looks at the first result of the side effects of that particular medication...if it wasn't the medication that was causing me that distress which he claims....why couldn't he send me to the back to get some tests done at least...even though I'm not in the medical field myself, I at least do my own damn research and come up with proper conclusions unlike what that clown did since he can't be bothered to actually do it himself. Finding another urgent care next time. & This place used to actually help until now. Even knowing how today's generation who ""want to be nurses/ doctors"" are practically cheating their way to a degree is also another reason why I'm afraid for us patients. And the neurologist I saw back in December was rude. If I have to see a neurologist again...I won't be seeing him again, I'll just ask my doctor for another. [Edit] Trying to get blood work done before school since my class starts very soon. They literally take forever for like a 3 minute procedure... This is ridiculous, been waiting for almost an hour.

When it was Beaver medical it was amazing. Optimum doesn’t care about those they serve. They cancel your physicians without notifying you. It’s gone down significantly. The lab used to be quick and the staff friendly. Since they changed the hours it is at least an hour wait any time you come. Go elsewhere if you need lab work done. Staff are grumpy in the front and no longer friendly.

I like going to Beaver Medical Group in Highland, It is a very nice clinic. It’s not crowded, it’s very clean and has comfortable waiting rooms. My Doctor is Dr Furiton at Beaver Medical Group in Highland. She is an internist which means she has had more training than a regular doctor. She’s very thorough, she’s a great Doctor.

I thought I sprained my ankle so I went to urgent care in Highland. It's a little different now you have to complete the forms and information by scanning a QR code with your phone and it's easy and user friendly.

Everyone who helped me was super proffesional and friendly including the Dr.

I was in & out of their in less than 2 hrs and that included vitals, wait time, Dr diagnostic, x ray and my cast.

Thank you nurses, doctors and staff. Keep up the good work!

BTW turns out I had a broken ankle

Level of care has gone down drastically since this facility went from Beaver Medical Group to Optum. Optum is a joke and all the doctors with them are too. The good doctors have already left in a mass exodus when the change happened, the only ones left are horrible. Office staff is a joke and very rude.

Horrible customer service. Honestly does not even exist. Why do I have to call 7 times just to make an appointment for my child. Then when I finally do get through to someone the representative was so unprofessional asking me “who is they doctor” like what? Really that’s who you hire to answer the phones? Then proceeded to put me on a 25 min hold and hangs up. Garbage customer service.

Two hours wait for walk in lab tests. No warning at check in. No way to make an appointment, had to stand as there was no seating available. It reflects what kind of care and treatment you will receive. Optum has ruined Beaver. Next open enrollment I’m back to Kaiser.
