I've been going to this Clinic for about 30 years and before Altamed took over. It was pleasant and quality healthcare was provided. Now it's unprofessional and unethical! I complained about Dr. Zeng and received retaliation from the Medical Director Tarick. I have underlying medical conditions and harassment seems to supersede equitable healthcare. The Medical Director changed my appointment to a nurse visit although, I was already scheduled to see the Doctor. The nurse can't resolve my condition. When I asked about my appointment change, security was called. Security also sat in the Patient seating area when I checked in to intimidate me, the Patient. They also allow security to stand around the back office while HIPAA information is disclosed. Not to negate it seems like a hangout spot versus a medical clinic. The culture is ghetto. They need to change this staff, except for Dr. Kona and Manuel.

I’m giving this two stars because when you call to schedule an appointment with AltaMed they give appointments within 2 months apart no matter what. Even on phone calls or video calls, There is been time when I have to wait two months to get my exams results or for a doctor visit for been sick.
AltaMed is a good place to go for doctor’s visits they have a great doctor in this place that she goes above and beyond with her patients Dr. Daniel’s she is the reason Im still going to this place. Unfortunately it’s becoming more and more difficult to see her now.
Eventually I will have to change to another clinic that can be more available for me and my family.

i’m currently pregnant and have been getting seen at Alta Med with their obgyns every time there is something wrong they can never see me … every time i need to be seen it’s weeks away that i can get appointment this clinic does not care… youd think its normal clinic and can seen with your ob as soon as the next day or even the next 2 days no with this this clinic its always weeks away

I don't recommend the urgent care here. The waiting time is long, they are unwilling to prescribe medicine, and they asked me to make an appointment with a doctor in 3 months at the earliest, and then charged me up to $200.

Dr. Fong and Dr Kona are truly so great. The Altamed itself sucks!!!! They want me to download the app, however no one responds back to me! Then when I want to reschedule I still have to call the office. When I can can, I have to go through multiple questions in order to a schedule. They send a text to reschedule, then tell me to once again call. I called today and accidentally picked medi-cal, they answered right away. As soon as I said, my children to not have medi-cal. She did not help me reschedule an appointment she needed to transfer me to another line. I had to wait over 45 minutes to reschedule an appointment. It’s truly so irritating I end up never rescheduling and my kids are suffering from it. I do not recommend to come here, unless you have too.

I been using Altamed as my provider for the past 9yrs I was happy with the service, but I’m really considering changing providers. Is ridiculous that they keep canceling appointments wether is for Dr appointment or Dental so far this year they have cancel my kids and my self appointments 6 times. Some of the calls to cancel are either 15min before appointment or until I get there they advise my appointment was cancel for whatever reason.

I read a lot of reviews on here on how dental appointments are hard to get at this place and wait times were crazy but I was able to get an appointment for the next day and I only waited for about 15 minutes. All of the staff were super friendly. Dr. Luna did a quick but very thorough job in the dental cleaning, she was very kind and chatted with me through it all. Nice experience overall!

i always have a good experience here no rude people and my dentist is always super nice & helpful. I’m feeling under the weather today and usually when I get rude comments I speak up and say what I have to say but today I wasn’t in the mood to even start an argument. I had a dentist appointment & I’m rescheduling to get my wisdom teeth pulled out. One of the lady’s comes up to the counter and asks the other lady “whats this for” (my paper) she says “for extractions” the other lady proceeds to say “they need to stop smoking” mind you I was standing right in front of her while she said this about MY paper. I don’t smoke and my extractions were for my wisdom teeth lol. To be more specific this lady was sitting on the left side of the desk in the far back closer to the door & this was about 12pm on feb 29th. I could’ve caused a scene but didn’t, don’t be metiche, be professional & keep you’re comments to yourself.
