This Headache Center is the premier migraine treatment practice in all of Los Angeles.The neurologists are at the top of their field and Janee Malan, P.A-C is my go-to person for regular treatment. Everyone in the Center is kind, patient and compassionate about headache pain. Janee truly understands what it’s like to suffer from migraine. I see Janee every three months for Botox injections and have gone from 13 headaches a month to one every three months. She makes herself available including telemedicine appointments and for in-office appointments with Dr. Cook or Janee I never have to wait—my appointments are always on time. I see Dr.Lisa Cook periodically (she’s amazing) but for general migraine upkeep Janee Malan, P.A.-C is there for her patients.

Dr. Blumenfeld, Dr. Malan, and Dr. Cook are the best doctors out there. Their team saved me and were the first and only doctors to properly diagnose me when no one else could. I had seen over 9 specialists before them with no solution and no treatment. It took Dr. Cook one visit and 10 minutes to look at my records and find it.

Dr. Janee Malan is especially a stand-out physician. I choose her specifically to administer my treatments and care. She is not only highly intelligent and skillful, but is uniquely personable. She will pinpoint your diagnosis and treatment, and will handle your case with a level of care and attention that is incredibly rare.

I have had some very hard times, and I have a very severe case, but each and every time she has listened, and then promptly escalated any care needed, whether that was a call from the ER, an urgent prescription, and even an emergency clinical trial that relieved a 5 week long vestibular migraine.

And as someone with a phobia of needles, you won’t even feel it when you need any invasive in-office procedure.

They prioritize every patient and will do everything in their power to help you, even when you no longer think you have any options.

I can’t recommend Dr. Malan and LAHC enough. I don’t know where I would be without them.

After going here on and off over the last several years for Botox injections to treat my migraines, I have finally given up and am going to find a new neurologist. Dr. Blumenfeld is a good doctor and will go to bat with your insurance for the treatment you need, but unfortunately he’s next to impossible to schedule with. My appointments are, on average, rescheduled 3 times per visit and usually the last rescheduling happens the day before the visit, so it’s incredibly difficult to plan if you work or have any other responsibilities/commitments. The office staff is unfriendly and it’s clear they don’t enjoy their jobs. Despite them asking to reschedule, you’ll still sit in the office and wait for the doctor. As a whole, they don’t respect your time or care about your medical concerns. Their only concern is what’s billable and that you can work around their schedule and accommodate them. If you call them out on that, they don’t like it. So if you’re ok working within those confines, Dr. Blumenfeld is good at treating migraine concerns, but if you want an office and doctor who truly care and are concerned this isn’t the best option.
