No one wants to visit a hospital, but if you have to the Regional Medical Center has good. The staff are very patient and took good care of our parent, keeping them for the time they needed to do thorough tests and care.

The hospital itself is extremely clean and we'll organized. During Covid they have extra precautions for visiting patients, but it is great that they are still permitting one visitor per day.

There is a free visitor parking garage just across from the main entrance.

This hospital is a joke! My mother was transferred here to see a specialist with a promise she would have a room prepared, 16 hours she was there they had her in a bed in the hallway because they gave her room away, didn't give her an iv treatment, didn't provide her antibiotics for her infection, didnt provide an MRI they said she would get upon arrival and only when she threatened to leave did a doctor finally see her and nurses finally give her antibiotics and an iv treatment! This place is the worst hospital me or my family have ever had it should not be like this! Zero stars if I could!

My daughter went in today after threatening to 'unalive me and herself' and going into a 5150 episode and you did not take it seriously at all. You just sent her home 6 hours later and didn't care one bit about her suicidal thoughts and actions. She came home and attacked me and instead of sending her to a mental hospital you just sent her home. Wow so you don't care about suicide huh?

In some aspects...mostly the nurses at community, are wonderful.. however as a low income patient i have never been treated so poorly. When i had private insurance my doctor actually seemed like she wpuld go to the end of the earth to find out what was wrong with me but because of recent hardships i had to be put on medi-cal..now i cant even get an appointment to the doctor...im on something called a waitlist...when i asked to switch dr. I was told no. How many people die a year on medi-cal just waiting to see a doctor? How is this system better...seems as if money is all you care about.

When to the ER for chest pain and palpitations. They admyne for overnight observation. Spent 30 hrs in the hallway. No privacy and no sleep. One man there said he's been in the hallway for five days. The positive side, the nurses and Drs where so nice and I met the nicest lady who brought her husband in. I wish I could find out who it was, would like to know if everything is ok with him. Their daughter works in the lab there. I understand they r over crowded, but they need another hospital here. I won't be going back there. Oh and if your there overnight you see and hear some patients are loud, violent.

Doesn’t even deserve one star. The girl in the critical care building at checkin, Brenda, was extremely unprofessional and rude. Zero empathy and cold. She should not work anywhere near people that are grieving. She is not alert enough to be the only person at check in when people off the streets are coming in and doing drugs using lighters in the bathroom. I told her and she didn’t care until one was came up to her slurring. Do better !

My 10 year old son had surgery here and was treated excellent, from the ladies at the front desk, to the nurses, anesthesiologist, and surgeon everyone made sure that he was comfortable and not scared. I was hesitant from all the bad reviews but I had a great experience. Thanks to all the staff at CRMC.

My mom was sent to this hospital from a Bakersfield hospital. Today Oct 4 2024 is her second day here. She is scheduled for brain surgery tomorrow. Yesterday she was in a room , Today she's just sitting in a hallway. They also told her she had a uti when she first came in but have not even tried to treat her for it. My mom is also incontinent and they staff are changing her in a hallway filled with sick patients. The whole hospital needs to be sterilized and disinfected. I'm afraid she may become more sicker than what she already is from this hospital. I wonder are they going to put her back in the hallway after her brain surgery, smh...
