I had a problem with my bladder, and I needed to find a urologist near home. And I didn't have a primary care doctor.
I found the " Family Practice Associates" from the Google site.
I called the doctor's office and I got an appointment soon. I thought that since I was a new patient, I had to wait a long time to get
an appointment.

I went to the doctor's office. When I arrived
at the parking lot, it was empty. There were
several Handicapped Parking spaces.
Also, they had a Handicap Accessible front entrance.
I walked inside of the office. One lady from
the front office greeted me with a big smile.
She was friendly and attentive. Since I was a new patient, I had to fill out a lot of forms.
There weren't many people waiting in the office. I waited only ten minutes to see
the doctor.
I met a nurse practitioner, Marie Basa.
When I made an appointment, I did not know that I would see a nurse practitioner.
Even though she was not an MD doctor, she was very knowledgeable and professional.
She cared about the patient, and she took
her time to listen to my medical problem.
Then, she understood what I needed for the treatment.
I had a urine test, and she found out I had
an infection in my bladder. She prescribed
antibiotics medicine. And she referred me
to a woman urologist in Torrance.
She knew that I didn't feel comfortable to
see a man, a urologist.
Anyway, after I took the medicine for about
a week later, I got much better.
I recommend seeing an NP, Marie Basa, because she is a very knowledgeable and
very caring person. She understands what
patient needs. All the staff is friendly and
they have excellent customer service.
Also, you don't need to wait for a long time
to see an NP.

This is my new review update:
Due to my new insurance, I had to see a new primary doctor. I had to change the new primary doctor on their network.
Anyway, I really liked my doctor & it is closed to my home. I wanted to go back to see the same doctor.
When I arrived at the doctor's office, one young lady, Emie, greeted me with a great smile.
She was very friendly and attentive.
I explained that due to my insurance, I had changed to another primary doctor.
Then, I was not happy with the doctor, so I came back to the Family Practice Association.
I had an appointment with the new nurse practitioner, Emily.
She was very professional and polite. She was knowledgeable and
caring person.
Last time, when I was there, I saw a nurse practitioner,Marie Basa.
Anyway, I was pleased their service.
I wasn't happy with any other primary doctor before.
I was glad that I came back to the same Family Practice Association
doctor's office again.
I would recommend this place to everyone for the primary care doctor.

Family Practice Associates has been a wonderful office. I started seeingHector about a year ago and have been nothing but pleased. He makes every visit very comfortable and is easy to talk to. I came to him after my insurance changed and I needed a new physician. He has been seeing my mom for many years and does such a good job with her that I didn’t give it a second thought. The office staff are just as great and make every visit so smooth. They are friendly and efficient and get you in and out in a timely manner. 10/10 recommend!!!

I have been with Dr Hector since he came to family practice and really thankful for his care. He is very intelligent but also very humble and treats you with respect and humility never speaking down at you, great bedside manners, sadly rare with many in this vocation but not Dr Hector you always get greeted with a smile and concern how he might assist you at your visit. He makes you feel welcomed and important. That’s very comforting as a monthly Patient.

Family Practice Associates was a good experience on my first visit . I met with PA - Hector , I felt comfortable and he is easy to talk to, listen to my concerns. I came to Family Practice Associates after my insurance changed and I needed a new physician. The office staff is friendly . I waited 40 minutes before I was seen and the Medical Assistant told me Mondays and Wednesdays are their busiest days. 9/10 going based on wait time .

The wait time is less then three minutes and I love that you can be a walk in and the staff are such a delight and respectful and the office and bathroom stays clean. And my N.P Marie Basa always takes good care of me, I have lupus so I'm always coming in the office with this problem or that problem and Marie always has an answer and when she doesn't have the answer she knows what doctor to send me to or when it's time to tell me okay it's time to go to the ER...So Thanks to everyone at FAMILY PRACTICE!!!
