I want to share our wonderful experience at this store. We needed to get my Mom in right away for a compression sleeve and glove. It is hard to transport her, she is a few weeks shy of her 100th b'day. They made room for us the day I called. Everyone was kind, gentle and professional, especially the tech who worked with us. Wheelchair Rental Review

I was leaving for a cruise in 36 hours.

My teenager injured herself. She was on crutches and a boot. If you're a cruiser, those decks are like a slippery slope to danger zone. Well canceling the cruise was out the equation - although the cruise was accommodating with the change.

Where could I get a wheelchair? Swap meet? Craigslist? Family friend? YELP saved the day and Homecare had high reviews for rentals. And they were open on Saturday. I rented a wheelchair from Homecare as a temporary mobility support for an injured teen. Cost was $65 or $95 a week. Maybe I'm inverting numbers.

When I called every question was answered, prices were disclosed without hmmm-ing and haaa-ing. I arrived and literally from entry to completed transaction was 15 minutes. I rented the chair for a month.

The chair was sturdy, easy to push or self-roll on sidewalks, pull on a hill, lightweight, easy to fold, easy to pick up and store in the trunk of a sedan. Remember the chair was used at cruise ports, elevators, on the ship, stadiums, restaurants and a couple of festivals with no challenges. It was also easy to clean and odorless.

This store is well laid out for safety. Wheelchairs and walkers can navigate comfortably.

Amazing service! We drove from downtown San Diego and San Diego Homecare Supplies did not disappoint. We will be using them moving forward for all of our medical needs!
The personal attention was stellar. I needed to be fit for a post surgical bra. They took the time to ensure I found the right fit for me. I didn't feel rushed, I felt they truly cared about what was best for me. I can't say enough about the customer service. Hard to find that kind of caring these days. I highly recommend! 5+++ stars

I went this morning to get measured for compression socks. I forgot what my appointment time was early in the morning and showed up there at 8:30am, although my appointment was at 9:30am, as I learned when I was there. I was still very diligently helped by associate Iris Beal. She has been working there only 8 months as she said when I asked, but she is very professional, knowledgeable, courteous, patient & caring. She took the time, in a one-to-one session, to personally fit me one of the compression socks explaining me the procedure to fit and remove this special socks. She literally helped me all the way from in to out the door. Wow, what a caring personality. Thank you

It was recommended that I look into wearing compression stockings for recent bout of swollen feet. I didn't realize there was much more involved than selecting the size of the stocking. To get a customized fit, I met with Sydel Howell and Sara Cummings. They explained the causes of swelling in the lower extremities and how gravity negatively effects the return of fluid. They methodically measured my feet and legs to make sure the correct compression stocking was selected. They also spent quality time to ensure proper placement and removal was understood. Customer service is excellent from sales, patient education and billing. They are all professional. My feet felt normal for the first time in weeks. I am so pleased. I would strongly recommend San Diego Homecare Supplies for all medical supply needs.

The whole staff here are some of the kindest and most helpful people I have ever met. Laura did a wonderful job custom fitting me for supplies and seeing through the whole process of ordering and insurance. Would highly recommend for any health supply needs.
