I understand that resources are tight but it doesn’t make any sense. You call a week before and then are advised to call Monday @ 9:30am due to no appointments. Upon being number one in the call queue they answer and then cut the line. You call back & then you are number 14. You spend 52 minutes waiting for someone to pick up for it to then cut off again. You call back and are now number 26. You cant access things online as there is a “high demand” & you can’t get through to anyone due to “high demand” it’s just got worse and worse!

As it's impossible to get an appointment with my GP, I had to try and order a prescription from here instead. Waited for 15 minutes for someone to pick up, then they apparently couldn't hear me and hung up (never had that problem calling anywhere else). I've had to pay £25 to get my prescription from Superdrug instead when I could've got it for free here, but I'd probably be waiting hours trying to get through to them.

On their website it says there are issues with their phone line, but you would expect them to sort this out quickly as they are providing an important healthcare service...

Can never get an appointment been trying for almost a year. If you call on Monday you’ll be told to call back Wednesday then if you call on Wednesday you get told to call back Monday. ?

Phone lines are a joke, called around 11:30 and says the phone lines are closed from 2-3pm, it is impossible to reach via telephone and to come in person is a hassle for those who work late unable to come in at their opening hours, what is the point of having a phone to not answer? No wonder so many people turn away from here

Went to get my implant swapped for a coil last week. When booking the appointment, I called at around 2pm and only waited about 15 minutes on the phone before quickly being booked in for an appointment around 10 days after I called up. When I went in, the staff were friendly and patient with me in my recovery after the procedure. They allowed me to take my time to rest and showed great care and consideration, making sure to check my blood pressure when I mentioned I was feeling a little faint. Great staff.

EDIT: To add, I have used their at-home STI self test kits twice now, and both times I have received the kit the next day after ordering and received my results via text in less than 5 days after sending off the sample.

Went in to get the implant done as saw Nurse Aramide… she was truly amazing!
Explained everything as much as I wanted it to be explained and was super reassuring and non judgemental
Really put me at ease and made the whole experience an enjoyable one

Walked out feeling respected and listened to!

Couldn’t get an appointment when I queried it just got told sorry you’re too old we only fit coils on reproductive females not perimenopausal ones. Continue to be in pain and have no other options currently. The system is a complete joke
