The front desk staff here are amazing which is unfortunate for everything else. I was well on my way to being helped and they are very quick and extremely knowledgeable. I was told all my possible options with my current issues and set up with a psychiatrist soon after.

The psychiatrists ("s" as is in plural yes I've spoken to two now) here, on the other hand, are atrocious.

The first one I spoke to passed off all of my concerns as non-treatable or a non-issue and immediately put me on medication.

The second one I spoke to blew off everything the first one said and told me that I didn't sound like I had any issues because of the way I talk. That maybe I was just lazy and need to pick myself up and fix my own problems... and then put me on medication anyways. It's like they just want to gaslight you and manipulate you into getting on meds so they get a paycheck.

Once you get inside of their offices its like they go from wanting to help you to wanting you dead. Its a jarring and painful experience every time I go here.

I have had therapy here once with someone who was nice but inexperienced and not a good fit for me so I cannot speak for general therapists here.

Based on the other reviews, I had low expectations, but I went with someone through their intake and it went really well. All of the staff that we saw (security, reception, intake, therapist) were supportive, polite, clarified a few things for us when we asked, and were very patient when we had questions about the paperwork. I won't lie, the questions for psychiatric intake are VERY uncomfortable for many to answer, it's hard to open yourself up to a total stranger about your struggles and coping mechanisms like substance abuse or self-injury, but it IS a necessary step for seeking therapy, medication, & resources to help you with mental and/or behavioral illnesses. If you can, bring a loved one for support, write down or bring with you any medications you take, and really take the time to get set up with some appointments, ask questions, sip water, breathe deep or whatever you need to push yourself through these vital first steps to good health. <3 You are worth it.

Worse psychiatric ever I came here on June 26 with my son who suffers from bipolar, schizophrenia anxiety and depression, so we come in to this clinic they call my son really fast no complain about that but as I was waiting out in the lobby for about 3 minutes I repeat 3 MINUTES he comes out titalto frustrated upset and nervous telling me mom whare is the paper for my meds I tell him sorry I didn't bring it he says to me let's go this Dr. Doesn't want to talk to me. I insisted on my son telling me what had happened in there so yes luckily my son has my entire support and protection I always go with him to his appointment for this same reason he does everything except for this type of stuff. So anyways I get up and tell the young lady who was very nice and polite, that I wanted to talk to the psychiatric that saw my son for 3 MINUTES, I look to the right he was already at the door with this frustrated face telling me, YES but God you had to be there to see his face expression, totally mad no self control wants so ever, so ask him what paper is my son asking me for very politely, than this guy puts his hands up in the air air telling me, I don't know, I don't have nothing there is no record of him given no medication here so I ask him oh ok. Let me explain why drove here one hour sir, see my son was brought in with a group home he was staying in and he told me he they prescribed him medication here that made him feel calm and good so all my hopes where in this clinic finding the right medication for my son is important. So he says " OK" and what do you want me to do there is no prescribed meds here, so I ask he did come here back in December? He replied yes but there is nothing here what do you want me to do? But with this frustrated face no explanation or questions asked he made me feel really uncomfortable and nervous his approach was totally unprofessional, so my son saw that reaction from the so called "psychiatric" and lost total control he insulted him and told me let's just go, im not going to deny the reaction of my son but any other psychiatric should know that persons with mental illness should get proper care and you need patience you can't just blow up the way he did with me, I can imagine how he treats others who don't have no one to speak to supervisors or anything. His face of frustration was what really got to me, I don't know how someone with short temper can be working with people who need love compation and alot of patience. I'm a drug and alcohol counselor and his approach was totally off the law and ethics maybe he should go back on those little books.. I was so upset I didn't even get his name however there the rest of the staff was very helpful the supervisor did her job and explained why they didn't have records of medication there, she did the job the psychiatric didn't do..

I would give 0 stars to this place if I could. The person I was talking too said I wasn’t telling her the whole story about my anxiety/depression. She was rude as heck. I was more anxious LEAVING than I was going in. Then she said you may not even have these “illnesses”. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE..

My brother who is bipolar and few other mental health issues, was giving multiple answers to questions and when questioning them loses his temper is asked to leave, your a mental health office your supposed to be there to help them. The dr made fun of his name, kept asking same questions over and over again when therapist told him all infomaton was in computer. She was too old, forgetful and shouldn't be practicing there. But any one over 60 can't see any other drs. This is why mental health is a problem in California, cause you let drs like that take care of people who needs better care. Now my brother is without mental health care and meds. Please can some one look into why people over 60 have to deal with that one dr and no one else can help all the people who needs it. Get rid of Dr. Anosa and put some one in there who isn't losing their mind like her, plus only having the dr available 1 day a month in a mental health office is ridiculous.

I would give no stars if I could. Terrible bedside manner. The doctors and staff there will literally say "I don't know how to help this one. How do I?" and not act supportive or listen to you at all. I had a doctor literally write the opposite of what I told him during a consolation. And if you're not literally jumping off the walls crazy they will give you the runaround with referrals.
