I had Dr. Singh for an appointment and she was great. She was understanding, concerned and thorough with my health concerns. I have to give five stars for her efforts and expertise.

I used to see Dr. Karen Howarth. she is truly amazing, patient centered, professional, willing to go for extra miles and compassionate, the best physician I ever met in my life. I never had a chance to say thank you, Dr Howarth. Also Sarah and Megan were amazing nurse too. ? to them

After 3 visits, I can confidently say Dr. Schneider has terrible bedside manner. Abrupt, condescending, and interruptive. I politely informed her that her tone was hurtful and she gaslit me. Left the appointment feeling emotionally diminished and disempowered. I cannot recommend her to anyone.

Dr.Nguyen was friendly and great! I was giving a pop test, she made it really comfortable for me. Also took her time to address all my concerns and explain everything to me.
The nurse (forgot her name) and the reception were great as well. I didn't have any problem over all and everything went smoothly.

Although the staff is friendly as possible, the way the wellness centre is run needs a complete overhaul. It is clear that they hire only part-time physicians, making it very difficult to book an appointment with a doctor when they only work three days a week. I have seen the same doctor for over a year now, and it is always at least a month's wait for an appointment to do a simple prescription refill since he only gives me a three-month renewal per appointment because the prescription apparently has to be monitored, which is frustrating because I have been on it for over two years with only one dosage change, but otherwise no bad side effects. I am beginning to doubt that this is standard practice for this medication and really just a way for him to bill the insurance company that U of C partners with since he needs income but works part-time. The wellness centre relies on the belief that because students tend to be young and healthy, they can get away with employing doctors who have limited availability. They clearly don't recognize students' diverse needs, whether for physical or mental health. Despite my doctor being a nice man who clearly knows his stuff, he is the best example of a doctor taking a position under this assumption, and the wellness centre completely enables him to do so.

Compared to other locations, the chiropractic services here are very affordable. I had a wonderful experience at the Wellness Centre - Dr. Rachel Schuster went above and beyond in our initial appointment and made me feel comfortable while she addressed all my concerns. I really appreciated her experience and her knowledge - she gave me a number of resources and information that I didn't know, despite going to a chiropractor for most of my life.

I'll be sure to come back here for other services, like massage!

Dr.Nguyen is a great doctor. She made me feel very comfortable and explained my procedure to me thoroughly so that I knew what to expect. She has a warm personality and made my experience easy. On the other hand the receptionists are somewhat callous and inconsiderate. They are not welcoming and would rather chat among themselves than pay attention to parients.

I recently decided to change my family doctor to one at the Wellness Centre out of convenience and because I’m already paying for health benefits as a full-time student anyways. While the doctors I’ve dealt with are thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate, the two out of four receptionists have made my experience at the Wellness Centre very frustrating and off-putting. Two of them have the worst customer service skills I’ve ever experienced from receptionists in a professional environment. They seem like they hate their jobs and did not provide the best advice for me despite explaining my situation.
I informed the receptionist I had multiple concerns and instead of advising me to book a longer appointment, she booked me a 10 minutes appointment where I was only able to express 1 concern. Not only did she fail to tell me I wouldn’t be able to book another appointment in the same day, she also failed to tell me it was only a 10 minute appointment! Now I can’t even get a doctor’s note for school and the nurse, who had informed me I couldn’t book more than one appointment per day through AHS, was tactlessly unapologetic and didn’t even offer to consult the receptionists so this wouldn’t happen to anybody else. Based on past reviews, it seems nothing has changed with the receptionists. I just feel sorry for international students who have no other option but to see this clinic for health concerns.
