I’ve been to this Occ Health facility about 6 times in the past 2 years, as I’m a contract worker and they have an exclusive contract for drug/TB testing with my company. If I could go elsewhere, I would. I dread going in and seeing Sharlee (Shaylee?) behind the desk, as she is consistently unpleasant and obstructive, often finding minor discrepancies in authorization paperwork and seeming to relish saying ‘No’. I’d take it personally, but I’ve heard her be very rude to multiple people. That she is their public-facing staff member is mind-boggling. Their customer service is appalling, but perhaps being the ‘only game in town’ allows them to get away with treating patients so poorly, and they aren’t concerned with all of the poor ratings and horrified anecdotes…. I’ve had good experiences with nurse Sarah, and no real issues with the Dr that completes the physicals.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Front office staff are completely and entirely incompetent, rude and unprofessional. I made an appointment for a Thurs and explained exactly what I needed and what it was for.. I called that Monday to confirm my appt time and left a vmail due to no answer. I never received a call back. I got a reminder text on Wed that said to please be there 10 mins early for check in. I arrived 15-mins early and they had marked me as a "no show" because, according to the receptionist, "I needed to be there at least 30 minutes earlier because of all of the tests I needed done" (which I told them explicitly when I made the appt). No one told me I needed to be there at least 30-minutes early. The receptionist was extremely rude and unhelpful. SO THEN, they rescheduled me for today, and told me to come in 3-hours early. Which I did. When I arrived to check in, they told me they could not see me because they thought I was an HSU student and the types of tests I needed done could only be billed through the university. I asked, "So what is the solution", and they said, "There isn't one". I had to take 1.5 days off of work to go to these appts, and I am now unable to enroll in a program I was accepted into because of multiple instances of misinformation from this terrible clinic. And there is literally no one to hold them accountable. They admitted it was their fault, and yet, my future is the one that pays the price. Beyond disgusted.

Interesting visit. The nurse/assistant who helped me during my initial visit was professional and friendly. However, during my return visit 2 days later, a different assistant couldn't find my name in the computer, couldn't find my physical file, and couldn't find proof of my payment. Furthermore, she didn't find it to be important that my name was misspelled on my documentation. Finally, the assistant read my results, but documented that it was read by someone else. The visit was very disappointing.

I think someone needs to donate a clock and a calendar, they have a voicemail stating that they are "closed for the holiday" (I presume this is memorial day... which was on Monday) and will return on Wednesday morning. Somebody seems to have neglected to tell them that it is in fact currently Wednesday morning!

I would strongly suggest not going here for tb tests. The nurse Sarah Chance is ? incompetent or is intentionally injecting tb into people's bodies. Steer clear of her especially. Horrible experience. Tb goes into the skin, not the body.

From the time I entered the ER I received excellent care from nursing and surgical staff; the staff carefully listened, evaluated, and effectively treated my acute medical condition.

Creepy transphobic vibes. I will certainly be telling my employer I need to use a different place if they need tests in the future. I recommend queer folks stay clear.

Edit: to elaborate, The nurse practitioner, Cynthia Johnson, repeatedly misgendered me while talking about me within earshot. She claimed to have no idea what to do with the types of tests that had been ordered, even though they were a common TB test and a physical fitness exam. She had me go back and forth to the waiting room an unnecessary amount of times each time thinking that I could leave than being told that I couldn't because they still needed to do something. I ended up just leaving with no idea whether they were going to send my tests to my employer or not. I have to go back there in a couple days and I'm not stoked. I know we don't have a whole lot of options in this county but employers absolutely need to stop sending their employees to this health center for testing.

It’s the only TB test center my employer see in my area of assignment. Staff are not really friendly. I need to come back multiple times because their results for t-spot is not accurate, so I need to do it again.
