Overall no major complaints; I have been going here for four years. They get me scheduled relatively quickly and Caroline is a great practitioner. She's helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and generally conversational without making me feel too rushed during appointments, despite the fact that she must be very busy like everyone else there.

A new building dosen't always mean better...way longer wait time when you call in, over half an hour sometimes, took over a month to have a referral made,when checking on the status of the referral after a month, no write-up had even been done for it. Called in for a refill of important medications, & didn't even put in the order, my client was out for days. All in all, very disappointed with how things are being handled since the move to their new location.

I have been a grateful patient of Dr Julie Ohnemus for several years.
I have found both Dr Ohnemus and all of her staff to be stellar and gifts to the Humboldt County community.

I have also had long wait times but as a retired nurse and grateful patient I also know that I may need more time for certain issues and hope other patients can learn "patience" since all of us will need this at some point in our health care.
I just experienced a serious health crisis which was dealt with surgically at St Joseph's hospital in Eureka Ca and I want to give the hospital and staff a huge thank you for my care in every department.
Our docs up here are overloaded with cases and in some areas of medicine few and far between.
I have had bad care but am grateful that the particular practitioners have mostly moved on.
More gratitude and less complaining is my goal.

We have called for four days in a row to try and get an appointment for my 79 year old mom in severe pain. The nurse messages don’t even call back by the end of the day. People of Humboldt deserve a lot better.

Mediocre, new building does not mean improvements as far as medical care/professionals you get to see. Only reason they're in business is because everyone with partnership has no choice but to use them, including me. I have had a family member work for them and they are cliquey and high school mentality. Workers are always quitting for a reason. Specifically Shalamar, Karma, and Rosy, they are a bunch of dumb bullies. The owners should re-evaluate who they leave in charge. Good workers should not be punished for the ineptitude of others.

I can't get thru on the phone any more! Over 30 minutes wait time, are you serious Doctor help has declined big time.
Their service was 100% @North Country Clinic in Arcata, Until they moved! Bummer

Dr. Young-Tripp is one of the best doctors you can get. Plus everyone I meet in there is kind & helpful . I'm thank full she's my Doctor........ AND .....thank full to all those at HODC ..........THANKS.

We have found the clinic good and the doctor is very thorough I also like the sliding scale on the events that take place there. The staff is great
