Update 12/12/24: So grateful to have Dr. Oko for my OB. We had a plan for a c section, 11/5, but baby ended up coming much earlier 10/19. He made sure to explain how things would proceed, especially understanding it’s my first child and anxiety around the last minute decision. He took great care of me and delivering my baby and continues to provide great care post partum. I highly recommend.

Initial review: Great and pleasant care. Always willing to answer inquiries with detail and offer up more if I haven't thought about it. Response time outside of visits is timely and engenders a sense of ease and confidence. Glad to receive care Dr. Oko.

Dr. Oko is one of the best doctors I’ve ever experienced and I feel so lucky to have found him. To set context, I came to Dr. Oko after having a horrible experience at another OBGYN clinic where I received mixed information during my pregnancy confirmation appointment.

From the moment I walked into the office I felt at ease. Everyone I encountered, from reception to Leanne, one of Dr. Oko’s nurses, to Dr. Oko himself I knew I’d be truly seen, listened to, and met with compassion.

During my first appointment, Dr. Oko did unfortunately confirm that my pregnant wasn’t viable but the amount of care and compassion, professionalism, and genuine humanity is something I’ll never forget. I have a high bar for doctors & care (I’m a very nervous patient with health anxiety) and he raised the bar. He spent an ample amount of time explaining the situation and options with my husband and I and never felt rushed or pressured us to pick any option over the other.

Today, Dr. Oko and Leanne performed an in-office D&C (the option I chose myself) and again, I was met with warmth and compassion before I even walked into the building. Dr. Oko again spent time answering my questions, making me feel comfortable and supporting me through the whole
procedure.

Dr. Oko will be my OBGYN moving forward and I can’t recommend him enough. We are so lucky that Doctors like Dr. Oko exist. If you’re looking for someone who will meet you on a human level, take the time to listen to you and answer your questions, and just someone who genuinely cares about your well being, look no further.

I'm grateful to have a Dr. like Dr. Oko who takes the time to listen to my concerns, provides me with options and gives me the space/time to think about what I want in terms of care and answers my one million questions. He has excellent bedside manners and isn't snappy or thinks he knows it all like I've experienced with other obgyn's at the same location.
