I have been seeing my doctor Cahil for two years now, she’s delivered many of my family babies and multiple babies of friends I know, all in which love her! She has been a great woman doctor, I found a few weeks back I was pregnant with my second child, due to some minor complications I had to come in to have blood work done a few times until I was far enough along. On my first OB appointment I’m excited as any mom is. I was running a little late that morning, I called ahead informed them of traffic, was actually told the appointment after me didn’t show so I was fine. I came in and everything was smooth was smooth their were no patients waiting to see my doctor, I got to the ultrasound tech room and this tech had an attitude from the start, I came in already feeling bad for being 15 minutes late, and immediately apologized she said yeah I’ve been waiting on you a while… I was like okay.. she rushed through my whole ultrasound, didn’t let us see anything, she was just taking pictures left and right moving like she had 10 patients behind me and the waiting room was empty, and told me she would have some pictures for me once she was done, I got to hear the heart beat for maybe 20 seconds and it was all Over, I wasn’t in her room 5 minutes. She made the experience the most cold moment for me ever in that office. I went back to the room hoping to see doc and tell her how that just went but she didn’t see me on the first on appt because I wasn’t having anymore complications. I’m completely disappointed with them. I know I was a little late but if it was trouble they should have rescheduled me instead of rushing through my first appointment, on top Of that I was told I was fine because the other appt was a no show. Due to this experience I will be reconsidering my OB options. I love dr. Cahil and her nurse and although this isn’t their fault, I do feel like some balls were dropped that day and questions I had weren’t answered and I was overall completely disappointed with everything. A new mom needs to feel they can trust the people they are trusting with bringing a new life into this world, I lost all faith in how they ran their operation that day. If I could give the tech a star she would get a no stars for her behavior and how she handled me as though I was burden to her time.
