Dr. Knowles is an old-fashioned gentlemanly Doctor who absolutely cares and will do all he can to help you. He saved my life. The nurses are fabulous. BUT..BUT..There is a woman doctor,Dr Lockilear or however you spell her name who is so condescendingly hateful and judgemental that you can almost see her looking down her nose at you. I went in with chest pain and all she could do was gripe endlessly about my pain meds while actually sneering. That's none of her judgemental business. She needs to keep her opinions to herself about my prescribed medication. The managers need to do something about her, force her to rein in that hostile attitude..

I awoke with blood press over 200 on top and over 100 on bottom. I came to the ER with chest pain. The nurse stuck one arm four times and blew every vein because she used too large needles with me telling her that she would need to use the smallest one possible because my veins would blow. She gave up and did not start an IV. The doctor, when I tried to inform him of some of my other health conditions that could be interfering with my blood pressure medication, he told me it sounded like “white coat syndrome “. He said the more you talk about your health issues, your blood pressure is going to go up. Then he said “ I’m just an ER doctor. I’m only going to see you a few minutes and make sure you’re not having a heart attack. That’s it”. So he wasn’t even willing to listen for a few minutes. THAT arrogant, non-concerning attitude DOES RAISE MY BLOOD PRESSURE. It is now 191/93 pulse at 125 and it’s been over an hour since I’ve seen anybody. I could have stayed home and took my own blood pressure. But my insurance will be hit with a huge bill. I’m totally disgusted. I’m my opinion, the bare of care if you’re concerned that patient could be having a stroke or a heart has been provided. I’ve received a bed, finally drew one vial of blood and I have a blood pressure monitor. That’s it! For a doctor to not care about my other health conditions and a disease that has been debilitating enough to have me qualified as totally disabled, is text book negligence! They put me in a room, closed the door and have not checked on me since.

I went to the ER last year even though I told my Mom that I didn't want to go there because I knew they wouldn't care or help me as I don't have my own doctor anymore and I'm still looking for one who will care about me like Jodi Gibson did.she really cares for her patience or did me back in 2022 and it's a shame that just because the medicine that I have been prescribed since I was only 13 years old happens to be generic Klonopin and I'm now 57 yrs old and I've been struggling with how to go about getting a new doctor and afraid to and be frowned upon because of the benzo. Klonopin as I have been diagnosed with GAD and panic attacks severe anxiety and depression they have been working well for me these years so I still need a good caring aprn and or doctor that will keep me on my previous medications..I am so tired of struggling with my anxiety and more so trying to figure out how to go about getting a new one I'm so stressed out and depressed anyhow the ER looked at me and they we're not much help at all gave me hydroxyzine have plenty here at home and yes I will take one or two but after being on benzo diazepams and I quote Liz H saying to me years ago nothing else helps and especially after being prescribed since I was only 13 im too old for this it's killing me high blood pressure and high cholesterol and anxiety go hand in hand with heart problems heart fsilure in our family and diabetes im really concerned as my lower legs and feet have been red and bad fluid retetion over 2 years now im scared but i dont want to be looking like im doctor shopping so i just wont try dont like being looked upon as if im drug seeking and or such so here I sit. Sorry for so much information but I'm beside myself.

Just recently had a visit to the ER. This is the team of Doctors and Nurses that should be emulated everywhere. These people are very methodical. Very pleasing to deal with great bedside manners so sweet I felt so well taken care of. It is worth the drive, they were quick and thorough with a great plan from here out thank you to the Stone County Medical Center staff for taking so great care of me!!!!!

I wouldn’t take my dog here, let alone a human for any kind of medical care! My husband was seen at the ER and the lack of empathy they showed was disgusting and honestly disturbing! Hippa WHO? Your privacy is a joke to these people as well as your medical needs! Marie Kent and her staff of nurses that “cared” for my husband should not be working in the Emergency department let alone any hospital for that matter! Arkansas state medical board will be informed of this incident!

i’ve had bad experiences the two times i’ve been here. i left a review three years ago explaining my experience, and now to explain my previous experience from Sunday, February 3rd. i brought my three year old for a high fever, it took 2-3 hours, they swabbed him for the flu, rsv, covid, strep and checked his ears. not to mention the lab tech swabbed too far back and made my already miserable child throw up but they said everything came back good, said it was a viral infection of sorts and he doesn’t need meds just let it run it’s course. i took him to his primary dr the next day and he had the flu and a bad double ear infection. i’m not sure how it’s legal to advertise as 5 star medical center with so many bad experiences. definitely will be going to clinton with anymore medical emergencies. waste of time and money and resources frankly.

On November 30,2021 my husband and I was visiting Mt. View, AR for our anniversary. While out browsing the shops I missed a step, falling and hurting my ankle and leg. My husband drove me to the ER where I received the BEST care. From the front desk registration to leaving out on crutches. The doctor, nurses, X-ray tech just everyone in the ER that day was so caring and attentive. I ended up having dislocated ankle and fractured fibula .. the Doctor (wish I could remember names) did an excellent job reducing my ankle back and getting me comfortable so we could return back to Mississippi the next day. Would definitely rate them a “10”. Thanks to all who was working the ER that day.

The worst hospital in the world. You are better off going to a vet. THEY WILL KILL YOU!!!! No blood work, no urine samples, X-ray techs have no idea what their doing. The doctors throw a dart at a symptom board and pretend they understand what's going on. Have caused three of my loved ones to die from neglect and they still continue the neglect to this day. My uncle went in with cracked ribs from a tractor rolling over, they said his ribs were bruised.... Two months later, he fell unconscious from not being able to breathe because one of his BROKEN ribs, punctured his lung and was healing back in place. If it's a serious injury or an unknown serious symptom, do your best to go to Batesville or Mountain Home. This place is a joke and should be shut down.
